Job Description

Seeking senior quality measure analyst to work on nationally significant quality measure development and evaluation projects. Serve on the analytic team to conduct data analysis tasks to address research questions and topics on national contracts. Perform advanced data quality checks and processing activities on data sets of various sizes. Assist with the preparation and review technical reports. Support leadership with ad-hoc data analysis tasks. 

 

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct statistical analyses for research tasks and contract deliverables.
  • Provide analytical expertise for all data-related tasks on assigned project(s).
  • Prepare, review and interpret technical reports, abstracts, manuscripts and contract deliverables.
  • Support drafting and implementation of study protocols, research plans, and research methodologies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on various statistical issues and statistical programming methodology related to quality measurement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all assigned quality measures and related initiatives.
  • Participate in maintaining a continually updated inventory of quality measures for analysis tasks.
  • Participate in ongoing continuous improvement of the quality and efficiency of quality measure products and services.
  • Perform assessment and identify methods to efficiently accomplish assigned tasks and deliver quality work products.
  • Provide excellent customer service with timely, accurate, and courteous response to all team members.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in statistics, healthcare economics, mathematics, or comparable field.
  • Experience in health services research and evaluation of programs and systems, or comparable experience.
  • A minimum of five years of recent work experience in conducting healthcare research or evaluation using SAS.
  • Experience in development, collection, calculation, and reporting of quality measures or comparable experience.
  • Experience working with large national-level datasets.
  • Experience with protocols for handling protected health information or other highly sensitive information. 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Knowledge in statistics, research design, and data analyses including trending, disparities, and benchmarking methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Experience with Tableau dashboard and report development preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
