Summary

With direction, oversees designated State & Corporate Services’ projects through various stages, including responding to request for proposals (RFPs); project initiation; recruitment selection, orientation, training, and supervision of subordinate staff; client relations; project planning and budgeting; completion of field work; and report preparation and finalization. 



Essential Competencies, Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Conducting compliance reviews of Medicaid managed care plans on state and federal requirements including documentation review, onsite interviews, and writing reports of review findings. 
  • Conduct onsite member-level case and disease management reviews. 
  • Serve as the clinical lead for collaborative quality improvement project facilitation with multiple stakeholders such as state Medicaid agencies, managed care plans, and hospitals. 
  • Serve as the clinical lead for conference planning and other educational workshops by assisting in the program content, expert speaker research, and securing continuing education units for participants. 
  • Serve as project manager for other external quality review (EQR)-related work, as assigned. 
  • Project deadlines may necessitate occasional extended work hours.

Job Requirements



Education and/or Experience

 

  • RN, Bachelors of Science, Nursing (BSN) degree required.
  • Must be an experienced healthcare professional.

 



Other Qualifications

 

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in data analytics preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of quality improvement practices.
  • Familiarity with Windows environment specifically Excel spreadsheets.
