Job Description

SUMMARY

 

With direction, oversees designated State & Corporate Services Division's projects through various stages, including compliance reviews; project initiation; client relations; project planning and budgeting; completion of field work; and report preparation and finalization.

 

 

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting compliance reviews of Medicaid managed care plans on state and federal requirements including documentation review, onsite interviews, and writing draft reports of review findings.

 

  • Conduct provider network reviews.

 

  • Draft response letters regarding project activities ensuring that appropriate correspondents are notified and company policies/procedures are adhered to.

 

  • Assist with developing written reports.

 

  • Communicate with project partners, subcontractors, and other entities on analytic-related projects.

 

  • Coordinate project tasks including communication (written, phone, fax), coaching, and training.

 

  • Serve as project coordinator for other external quality review related work, as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Must be an experienced Health Care Professional with a Bachelor’s in appropriate field preferred.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

 

  • Experience in Medicaid Managed Care

 

  • Experience and knowledge of quality improvement practices.

 

  • Familiarity with Windows environment specifically Excel spreadsheets.
